This dataset contains hourly average concentrations of atmospheric NOy in urban and suburban Beijing during the summer of 2008. Concentrations of NOy were automatically measured using a Thermo Electron Corporation total nitrogen oxide analyzer (Model TEI 42CY). A total of 2149 attribute data records were acquired. The dataset was collected to study the pollution characteristics of atmospheric NOy and its response to Olympic-related control measures in urban and suburban Beijing during the 2008 Olympic Games, which falls within the domain of atmospheric environmental science. It serves students and researchers engaged in atmospheric environmental research.
