Investigate the function of the MtKIN3, a receptor-like kinase with a strong arbuscular mycorrhizal colonisation phenotype.Medicago truncatula R108 (wildtype), NF443 (kin3 KO) and NF3438 (ram1 KO) were inoculated with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus Rhizophagus irregularis or an autoclaved control, grown in clay/sand, fertilized with low phosphate Long Ashton media. Bulk root RNA sampled at 6 weeks.
