The no change planted forests, natural forests, and open lands data in 2000-2010

The pixels that did not experience changes in land cover types between 2000 and 2010 were then extracted by comparing the results from the two years, to understand the spatiotemporal patterns of the potential afforestation. 
 This hypothetical forest change is not really happening, but is based on changes in the 5 × 5 km sample grid cells of types including NF, CR, GR, and PF that have not changed for 2000-2010.  
The distributions of PF, NF, and open land (CR and GR) areas in 2000 and 2010 in Guangdong Province were identified from two 30m land cover datasets: SGB-NDVI-based forest and non-forest (FNF) time series maps (Shen et al., 2019a) and GlobeLand30 data product (Chen et al., 2015).

通过对比2000年与2010年的土地覆盖结果，提取出该时段内未发生土地覆盖类型变化的像元，以探究潜在造林活动的时空分布格局。

本研究设定的假设性森林变化并非真实存在的地表事件，其构建依据为包含NF、CR、GR、PF类型、且2000-2010年间未发生类型变化的5×5 km样方网格单元。

研究人员通过两套30m分辨率土地覆盖数据集——基于SGB-NDVI的森林与非森林（FNF）时间序列地图（Shen等，2019a）与GlobeLand30数据产品（Chen等，2015）——识别得到广东省2000年与2010年的PF、NF以及开放用地（CR与GR）的面积分布。
