Methodological support for: Impact of cluster configuration of forest inventory plots on representing AGB density within map units

This script supports the analysis presented in Málaga et al. "Impact of cluster configuration of forest inventory plots on representing AGB density within map units". The study assesses the degree to which six spatial plot configurations characterize mean AGB density within fixed-size rectangles representing biomass map units in two study sites (Palanan-Philippines and Pennsylvania-USA). The study employs a hierarchical marked point process (HMPP) framework to understand and simulate the spatial distribution of trees and AGB within forest stands.
