The SEN12VTS (Sentinel-1 & Sentinel-2 Vegetation Time-Series) dataset has been created to support research on time-series analysis for vegetation indices, specifically targeting NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) regression tasks. This dataset is a high-quality, Europe-focused time-series dataset that includes Sentinel-1 RTC radar imagery and Sentinel-2 L2A optical imagery from 2022 to 2023 with a spatial resolution of 10 meters. The dataset is sampled using a specific methodology from highly vegetated areas identified by ESA WorldCover 2021, selecting non-overlapping bounding boxes and providing Sentinel-1 data in two polarizations and Sentinel-2 data with 12 spectral bands.
