Voltage Gated Sodium Channel (VGSC) is the target of pyrethroid insecticides. Certain amino-acid (AA) substitutions on this protein are known to confer resistance against pyrethroids. In this project, we tested hybridization capture of VGSC gene from mosquito genomic DNA to effectively genotype AA substitutions. The captured libraries were sequenced in Illumina MiniSeq.
