Using choice experiment to assess conservation preferences

The dataset consists of wildlife conservation-related preferences regarding alternative forms of livelihoods, which could reduce poaching, as given by local communities living near the Kafue National Park in Zambia. It was collected using researcher-administered questionnaires, developed using information from focus group discussions. It was generated using choice experiments based on hypothetical scenarios.
