Liquidator shaking at location D3D4

Tests were conducted at Hornsby Bend Site, Austin, TX, from 11/7/2007 to 11/9/2007. Liquidator was used a seismic source along Test point D3D4. (Please see 2007-11 Experiment_setup.pdf file for sensors and shaker locations.)

The purpose of this experiment was to find out the distribution of soil's material properties (Elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio). According to the experiment setup, this is a 3D experiment and a 3D inversion code is required to process the recorded data.

Due to the 3D nature of the experiment, loads and sensors can be positioned at arbitrary locations. Please see 2010 experiments which produces data that may be processed by 2D codes.

试验于2007年11月7日至11月9日在德克萨斯州奥斯汀市霍恩斯本德试验场（Hornsby Bend Site）开展。本次试验采用Liquidator作为地震震源，沿测试点D3D4布设。（传感器与激振器的安装位置详见2007-11 Experiment_setup.pdf文件）

本试验旨在探明土壤材料特性（弹性模量(Elastic modulus)与泊松比(Poisson's ratio)）的空间分布规律。根据试验设计方案，本次为三维试验，需采用三维反演代码(3D inversion code)对采集得到的观测数据进行处理。

鉴于本次试验的三维特性，激振荷载与传感器均可灵活布置于任意位置。请参阅2010年开展的相关试验，其生成的数据集可通过二维代码(2D code)完成处理。
