WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from MERRILL from 1991-05-31 to 1991-07-12 (NODC Accession 9100158)

The data in this accession were collected from ship MERRILL between May 31, 1991 to July 12, 1991. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Forty four stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and are present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.

本存档数据集采集自梅里尔号（MERRILL）船舶，采集时段为1991年5月31日至1991年7月12日。美国海军（US Navy）通过条带记录仪记录了变深测温仪（XBT）采集的不同深度海水温度实时数据。研究人员共向美国国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center，简称NODC）提交了44份条带记录图与无线电日志。上述条带记录图中的XBT数据已完成数字化处理，当前以C116文件格式存储于NODC现有数据存储系统中。
