The dataset provides, for ACL-deficient patients, the matched coupling angle and its standard deviation between the sound and involved limbs across the entire gait cycle, together with the bilateral muscle-synergy data: first, the coupling-angle variables are given at 10 % resolution, dividing the cycle into ten contiguous phases (0–10 % loading response, 10–30 % split into two mid-stance sub-segments, 30–50 % split into two terminal-stance sub-segments, 50–60 % pre-swing, and 60–100 % split into four swing sub-segments); second, separate synergy files for the sound and involved limbs contain, on page 1, the synergy weights that show the relative contribution of Vastus Lateralis, Rectus Femoris, Vastus Medialis, Biceps Femoris, Semitendinosus, Tibialis Anterior, Medial Gastrocnemius and Lateral Gastrocnemius to each synergy, and on page 2 the corresponding activation coefficients.
