Study on the correlation of prevalence of ocular disease to different demographic variables, medical history and concomitant diseases.

The total number of patients participated in the study was 101. Some demographic data and medical history of patients such as age, nationality, gender, family history, and medical history were obtained through a questionnaire found in the study by Samy EL <i>et al</i>. (2018) (1) and presented in Table-1. Among the total participants, 45(44.6%) were male, and 56(55.5%) were female, which indicates that the majority of the participants were women. The average age of a patient was 40.26± 15.4 (Mean ±SD) years (ranging from 13 to 80 years).

本研究共纳入101名患者。研究人员通过Samy EL等人（2018）[1]的研究中所用问卷，收集了患者的人口统计学资料与病史信息，涵盖年龄、国籍、性别、家族病史及既往病史，相关内容整理于表1中。全部受试者中，45例（44.6%）为男性，56例（55.5%）为女性，可见本研究受试者以女性居多。患者的平均年龄为40.26±15.4岁（均值±标准差），年龄范围为13至80岁。
