Bacterial 16S and fungal ITS metabarcoding of topsoil, leaf phyllosphere, and endosphere in grape plots with high and low susceptibility to downy mildew

This study focuses on bacterial 16S and fungal ITS metabarcoding of topsoil, leaf phyllosphere, and endosphere in grape plots with high and low susceptibility to downy mildew. Samples were collected over two consecutive years, in the springs of 2022 and 2023, when the vines were at the phenological stage of 2-3 unfolded leaves, before the onset of the first symptoms of downy mildew.
