资源简介:

This repository contains the public raw-data source files, processed source-data files, scripts, figures, rebuilt manuscript output, and verification materials supporting the manuscript “Ambient heat and severe construction injuries in the United States.” The study links the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Severe Injury Reports dataset with NOAA/NCEI Global Historical Climatology Network-Daily (GHCN-Daily) weather observations to estimate short-term associations between same-day ambient heat and severe construction injuries using a time-stratified case-crossover design. The deposited materials include the OSHA public severe-injury extract, NOAA GHCN-Daily by-year files for 2015–2025, GHCN-Daily station and inventory metadata, analysis-ready processed source-data files, scripts used to regenerate manuscript figures and tables, verification outputs, and a rebuilt manuscript file. The inferential injury-analysis window in the manuscript is restricted to OSHA severe construction injury reports from 2 January 2015 to 30 June 2020. The NOAA weather files extend beyond this period because the weather archive assembled for the reproducibility workflow covers 2015–2025. No direct contact with human participants occurred. The deposited analysis-ready and reproducibility materials do not report individually identifying worker information in manuscript figures, tables, or outputs. The original OSHA and NOAA datasets are public data sources. Main contents:- raw_data/osha/: OSHA Severe Injury Reports public data extract.- raw_data/noaa_ghcnd/by_year/: NOAA GHCN-Daily annual by-year files, 2015–2025.- raw_data/noaa_ghcnd/metadata/: GHCN-Daily station, inventory, country, state, version, and README metadata files.- reproducibility/: scripts, processed source-data files, generated figures, rebuilt manuscript file, environment files, verification report, file inventory, and SHA-256 checksums. Users should consult README.md for directory structure, reproducibility instructions, source links, and checksum verification.
