Wessex Water Customer Water Usage Calculator - New Tool

Our water use calculator is an online tool to support customers in understanding how they use and can save water in their home. The tool provides an estimate of water use based on information entered about the average water use of appliances and our current metered charges. We can also recommend appropriate free water-saving devices based on the information entered. This data is recorded when customers enter their information into our water usage calculator. We have published data for two different water usage calculators; this is for the tool that was launched in September 2025. This is available to use here: Water usage calculator Results are shown by local area (Lower Super Output Area – LSOA) to protect privacy using postcode lookup. The LSOA groupings are population weighted areas provided by the Office for National Statistics for geo-anonymisation. This is a one-off data publication.本用水计算器为一款在线工具，旨在助力用户明晰家庭用水状况并掌握节水技巧。该工具可基于用户录入的家电平均用水量数据，以及当前执行的计量收费标准，估算用户的用水量；同时还可根据用户提交的信息，推荐适配的免费节水设备。用户在本用水计算器中录入信息时，相关数据将被记录留存。我们已发布两款不同的用水计算器数据集，本次公开的是2025年9月上线的那款工具对应的数据。该工具可通过以下链接访问：用水计算器。为保护用户隐私，本数据集通过邮编查询功能，以本地区域（低级别超级输出区，Lower Super Output Area，简称LSOA）为单位展示查询结果。低级别超级输出区的分组是由英国国家统计局（Office for National Statistics）提供的人口加权区域，用于开展地理匿名化处理。本次为一次性数据公开发布。
