SDG 5.5.1 Proportion of seats held by women in national parliaments of total number of seats

This dataset reports the annual proportion of occupied seats held by women in Qatar's national parliament, expressed as a percentage of all occupied seats. The value is calculated by dividing the number of seats occupied by women by the total number of occupied seats and multiplying by 100. The indicator covers the single chamber in a unicameral parliament or the lower chamber in a bicameral parliament. It measures numerical representation and does not measure the quality or influence of women's parliamentary participation.
