收藏资源简介:
The dataset, "raw data_ self-compassion and suicidal ideation among chinese college students," was collected from college students across several regions in China using the online survey platform Wenjuanxing (www.wjx.cn) between November and Decemberr 2025. A simple random sampling method was employed, and after rigorous data cleaning, a total of 905 valid responses were retained for analysis. Standardized instruments were used to assess key psychological variables, including self-compassion, suicidal ideation, meaning in life, psychological resilience and perceived stress. Grounded in the conservation of resources theory and meaning maintenance theory, the study explored how self-compassion affects suicidal ideation through the chain mediating roles of meaning in life and psychological resilience, and how perceived stress moderates the relationship between self-compassion and meaning in life. This dataset provides empirical evidence for understanding cognitive mechanisms underlying college students’ suicidal ideation. This dataset gives useful ideas for designing campus mental health programs for college students.
