DSS Payments by Statistical Area 2

This is a machine readable file containing DSS payments by 2021 Statistical Area 2 (SA2) for use in National Map. Please see the [DSS Benefit and Payment Recipient Demographics - quarterly data](https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/dss-payment-demographic-data) available on Data.gov.au for details. \r\n\r\nPlease note: from December 2022 to protect individuals’ privacy, all cells have been rounded to the nearest 5, values from 1 to 7 are rounded to 5. Zero cells are actual zeros. This may result in non-additivity for some totals. Caution should be taken in re-calculating totals from rounded data, as this may compound the effects of rounding.\r\n\r\nPrior to December 2022 to maintain privacy and machine readability of the data in a machine readable format, values of less than five have been randomly assigned either a zero or a five. Users should refer to the Excel publication (mentioned above) for further information and data descriptions.
