资源简介:
South- and North-facing meteorological tripod stations measuring air temperature, incoming shortwave radiation, soil moisture, rain gage, and barometric pressure. GG1-SF-Met and GG1-NF-Met are 2.5 m multi-parameter meteorological tripods representing contrasting slope aspects in Gordon Gulch, part of the Dynamic Water Critical Zone (DWCZ). The north-facing station is more densely forested, influencing local radiation, wind exposure, and temperature readings. Gordon Gulch is a headwater catchment within the Boulder Creek watershed in the Colorado Front Range, east of the Continental Divide. The basin is underlain by Precambrian crystalline bedrock and features mixed conifer and ponderosa pine forests with open meadows and thin soils over saprolite. The site is characterized by strong topographic contrasts between north- and south-facing slopes, which drive differences in snow accumulation, soil moisture, and microclimate.
