PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tree health evaluation method which is an inexpensive and simple method and is easy to determine rot and hollow for solving the problem in which: in tree health evaluation， a device for a nondestructive method is expensive and a device made in Germany for a resistographic method is expensive. SOLUTION: A tree health evaluation method comprises drilling into a tree with a rotary drill 1 to collect cut powder TPn and determining health on the basis of at least one of comparison of color Cn$ and comparison of weight Wn between the collected cut powder TPn and that of a normal tree. 要解决的技术问题：当前树木健康评估领域的无损检测设备成本高昂，其中德国产的电阻成像法（resistographic method）检测设备同样价格不菲。为解决上述问题，亟需一种低成本、操作简便且易于判断树木腐朽与中空状况的树木健康评估方法。
技术方案：本发明所提供的树木健康评估方法，通过旋转钻头1对树木进行钻孔作业以收集切削粉末TPn，并基于所采集的切削粉末TPn与健康树木切削粉末的颜色Cn$、重量Wn对比中的至少一项，完成树木健康状况的评估。
