Pairwise competition assay in liquid cultures between E. coli B strains of different aspect ratios

Pairwise competitions (mixed 1:1) between the Eschericia coli B strains with different aspect ratios (WT is longest and AK shortest):
Sample 1: WT-GFP + AS-RFP
Sample 2: AK-GFP + AS-RFP
Sample 3: WT-GFP + AK-RFP
Sample 4: WT-RFP + AS-GFP
Sample 5: AK-RFP + AS-GFP
Sample 6: WT-RFP + AK-GFP
The strain combinations are grown in liquid medium (M63+glucose) under constant shaking and flow cytometry done at the onset (t=1) and again after 8h (t=6) of incubation at 37 degrees.
