New Southern Railway : environmental impact statement

Proposals for a rail link between Sydney Airport and the Central Business District of the city have been discussed for many years. The objectives of the New Southern Railway development proposal are to: extend the surburban rail network to link Sydney Airport and South Sydney into the existing CBD and suburban railway systems and enhance Sydney transport network.

悉尼机场与该市中央商务区（Central Business District，CBD）轨道交通连接线的相关提案，已被讨论多年。本次新南部铁路（New Southern Railway）开发提案的目标如下：延伸城市郊区轨道交通网络，将悉尼机场与南悉尼地区接入现有的中央商务区及郊区轨道交通系统，同时优化完善悉尼交通运输网络。
