Time spent on the internet is increasing worldwide, and this also applies to the time spent by users on social networks. For example, 74.4 percent of the Czech population used the internet daily or almost daily in 2021. On the other hand, the average social media user in Czechia spent 121 to 240 minutes on them. Czech social media users Nowadays, social networks offer a range of features for all age groups and can be accessed from almost anywhere. However, it is no longer the case that social networks are only for the young. Nearly 70 percent of Czech internet users aged 45 to 59 and more than 50 percent aged 60 to 99 had a social network account in 2021.
