This dataset documents annual afforestation area statistics spanning from 1949 to 2011, including records of the year, total afforestation area, artificial afforestation, aerial seeding afforestation, newly enclosed mountainous areas for forest cultivation and other related entries. It also contains the 2011 national forestry statistical data, which covers afforestation management, forest industrial production, as well as staff salaries and education-related data within the forestry system.
