Propagation phase contrast synchrotron X-ray micro-computed tomography dataset of the Early Triassic ray-finned fish Pteronisculus gunnari NHMD–73588 (Natural History Museum of Denmark). Generated on the BM05 beamline at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility. Region of interest shows a portion of the upper and lower jaws, parasphenoid, gill skeleton and associated toothplates and gill rakers.
