The neutron capture cross sections of Bromine was performed with the time-of-flight technique at the Back-n facility of the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS). Prompt gamma-rays originating from neutron-induced capture events were detected by four C6D6detectors.The average cross sections relative to the gold sample was obtained from 10 to 400 keV in the unresolved resonance region. And the average cross sections calculated with Li-Si neutron spectrum in CSNS Back-n was given simultaneously.
本研究针对溴的中子俘获截面开展测量,实验依托中国散裂中子源(China Spallation Neutron Source,CSNS)的Back-n装置,采用飞行时间法完成。中子诱发俘获反应产生的瞬发γ射线由四台C₆D₆探测器进行探测。在未解析共振区中,我们获取了10至400 keV能区范围内、相对于金标准样品的平均俘获截面。同时,本研究还给出了基于CSNS Back-n装置的Li-Si中子谱计算得到的平均俘获截面结果。
