OroGlobo pre-computed filtered orography for the GLOBONE atmospheric model

This archive contains netcdf files created with the OroGlobo software (https://github.com/GuidoDavoli/oroglobo), a tool for the creation of sub-grid orography ancillary files for atmospheric model's orographic drag parameterizations. These files constitutes an intermediate output of the OroGlobo computing chain. They are made available here in order to allow OroGlobo users to avoid preliminary time-consuming calculations. Also, these file were created specifically for the GloboNE atmospheric model (https://git.isac.cnr.it/esm/globone), an atmospheric general circulation model developed at CNR-ISAC (Institute of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate, National Research Council, Bologna, Italy). The files are approximately 1km resolution global elevation maps, low-pass filtered with a uniform global filtering scale matching the maximum grid spacing of each GloboNE operational grid. In fact, tha archive contains one file for each GloboNE configuration (namely, KM312, KM156, KM078, KM039, KM019). The files were created filtering the 1 km elevation dataset available here which, in turn, was created using the raw Copernicus GLO-90 elevation data (https://doi.org/10.5270/ESA-c5d3d65).
