Dataset underlying the publication "The intra-tidal evolution of turbulence in a frictional near- to mid-field river plume"

This dataset contains field data from the near- to mid-field Rhine River plume (Netherlands) about 10 km northwest of the discharge region and 9.5 km off the coast, near the sand pit QH16. The campaign was conducted on April 17-18th, 2024 and the dataset includes data sampled continuously at a mooring station over two tidal cycles and intermittently over one tidal cycle at a fixed cast station. Measurements were conducted with a moored ADCP and CTDs, a ship-mounted ADCP, and a microstructure profiler.
