Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) remains a major cause of mortality worldwide, and the prompt and effective delivery of Basic Life Support and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (BLS/CPR) substantially improves survival outcomes. Competence in BLS/CPR represents a core professional skill for nursing students. Nevertheless, conventional educational approaches may not provide sufficient opportunities for the development and retention of practical resuscitation skills. Simulation-based training, which enables repetitive practice of evidence-based resuscitation algorithms in a safe environment that closely replicates real clinical settings, has emerged as an effective educational strategy for enhancing the preparedness and clinical competence of future healthcare professionals.
