The data were sourced from 700 benchmark ground observation stations or automatic stations covering most of the country. Precipitation data from 1951 to 2020 were obtained from the China Meteorological Data Sharing Service System (<b>http://data.cma.cn/en</b>) at a monthly timescale and were corrected for missing values using the Global Precipitation Climatology Centre (GPCC) dataset (<b>http://gpcc.dwd.de/</b>). Evapotranspiration data for the same period (1951–2020) were obtained from the global gridded dataset of monthly climate data developed by the Climatic Research Unit (CRU TS v4.06). Finally, the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) and the Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI) were computed at multiple timescales (e.g., SPEI-3, -6, -9, and -12 months) using the aforementioned datasets.
本数据集的数据源自覆盖全国大部分区域的700个基准地面观测站与自动气象站。1951年至2020年的月尺度降水数据取自中国气象数据共享服务系统(China Meteorological Data Sharing Service System,http://data.cma.cn/en),并借助全球降水气候中心(Global Precipitation Climatology Centre,GPCC,http://gpcc.dwd.de/)数据集完成缺失值修正。同期(1951–2020年)的蒸散发数据取自气候研究单位(Climatic Research Unit,CRU TS v4.06)开发的全球网格化月气候数据集。最终,基于上述数据集,计算得到多时间尺度下的标准化降水指数(Standardized Precipitation Index,SPI)与标准化降水蒸散指数(Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index,SPEI),涵盖SPEI-3、SPEI-6、SPEI-9及SPEI-12个月尺度。
