This statistic shows the factors consumers take into account when deciding which bread and baked goods to purchase in England in 2014. According to the survey conducted for Bord Bia Irish food board, the most influential purchase factor is the freshness of the product, with 86 percent of respondents agreeing so. Other factors included taste/flavour, price, the brand, high fibre content, pack size, whether sliced or unsliced, whether locally baked, amongst other additional factors.
