The sales of aluminum gusset plates are affected by regional economic structure, industrial composition and other relevant factors. Therefore, the data collection and organization take provinces as the segmentation units. This dataset is collected and analyzed based on the historical order data of aluminum gusset plate products from users in Anhui Province, aiming to understand the local consumption status of this product, classify consumers into consumption tiers, provide data support for the formulation of procurement and sales strategies by wholesale and retail industries of related products, better deliver personalized goods and services to consumers, help enterprises accurately grasp market trends, and improve consumer satisfaction and the industry's sales competitiveness.
1. Data Collection: Sort out the consumption records of aluminum gusset plate products from users in Anhui Province from the database, with the selected fields including: order ID, date, sales province, customer name, transaction amount (CNY), product, and detailed product description.
2. Data Processing: Based on the statistical year:
a. First, use the SUM function to calculate the total annual sales amount (CNY) by summing up the transaction amount field; the specific statistical year shall be determined by the fields in the dataset.
b. Customer consumption proportion = (customer's total transaction amount (CNY) / total annual sales amount (CNY)) * 100%; (Note: The value of the customer's consumption amount field is the cumulative result of all orders placed by the customer.)
c. Rank the proportion of each user's consumption in the total regional consumption from largest to smallest, and adopt the ABCDEF sequence-based tiering method for consumption classification:
- Tier A: For users with a consumption proportion ≥ 1%;
- Tier B: For users with a consumption proportion between <1% and ≥ 0.8%;
- Tier C: For users with a consumption proportion between <0.8% and ≥ 0.6%;
- Tier D: For users with a consumption proportion between <0.6% and ≥ 0.4%;
- Tier E: For users with a consumption proportion between <0.4% and ≥ 0.2%;
- Tier F: For users with a consumption proportion <0.2%.
