Planktic foraminifera counts from sediment core Fr1/94-GC3, Tasman Sea (1994)

This core was obtained in January 1994 by the RV Franklin using a gravity corer at a depth of 2667 m at 4415.38 S, 14959.47E. It is 4.71 m long and is almost uniformly olive grey clay (5Y, 5/16/2). The coarse [>150m] fraction consists almost entirely of biogenic carbonates. The core was found to span the last 460ka, representing four glacialinterglacial cycles.
