Anopheles funestus is an efficient vector of human malaria in Africa and has contributed to over 90% of all malaria transmission in some parts of eastern and southern African regions. This study investigated the whole transcriptomic profile of Anopheles funestus in western Kenya in relation to insecticide resistance. This study provides updated information on resistance and unveils genes involved in the resistance of Anopheles funestus in western Kenya.
