该数据集记录了1988年，2012年度青海省湟源县草地类型面积、载畜量统计数据，数据按照草地类组型代号分类统计，如：Ⅰ代表高寒干草原类、Ⅱ代表山地干草原类、Ⅲ代表高寒荒漠类、B代表中禾草组、J代表灌木组等，具体的草地组类型代号及其对应的含义见数据集中的“青海省草地类组型代号说明.pdf”。数据整理自青海省草原总站与1988年和2012年发布的《青海省草地资源统计册》。数据集包含3个数据表，分别为：湟源县草地类型面积、载畜量统计数据（1988），湟源县草地类型面积、载畜量统计数据 （2012）和青海省草地类组型代号说明。数据表结构相似。例如湟源县草地类型面积、载畜量统计数据 （2012）表共有8个字段：

This dataset documents the statistical data of grassland type area and livestock carrying capacity in Huangyuan County, Qinghai Province, for the years 1988 and 2012. The data is classified and tabulated based on grassland group type codes: for example, code Ⅰ represents alpine dry grassland, Ⅱ represents mountain dry grassland, Ⅲ represents alpine desert, B represents medium grass group, J represents shrub group, and so on. The detailed correspondences between grassland group type codes and their meanings are provided in the document "Instructions for Grassland Group Type Codes of Qinghai Province.pdf" contained within this dataset.

All data was curated from the *Statistical Compilation of Grassland Resources of Qinghai Province* published by the Qinghai Provincial Grassland Station in 1988 and 2012.

This dataset includes three data tables, namely: 1) Statistical Data of Grassland Type Area and Livestock Carrying Capacity in Huangyuan County (1988), 2) Statistical Data of Grassland Type Area and Livestock Carrying Capacity in Huangyuan County (2012), and 3) Instructions for Grassland Group Type Codes of Qinghai Province. The structures of these tables are highly similar.
