In nature, the growth and immunity of most plants are regulated in an antagonistic way, which requires strict temporal and spatial control. The phenotype of BcERF98 transgenic plants and its interaction network and RNA sequencing data support that it is a negative regulator of growth and development and a positive regulator of immunity.
