资源简介:
This dataset was collected as part of a cross-sectional study investigating the knowledge and attitudes of the general public in Guizhou Province, China, toward emergency first aid. The study aimed to identify sociodemographic and training-related factors associated with first aid knowledge and to assess public attitudes toward learning and performing emergency aid.The data were gathered via a structured questionnaire from 1,091 adult residents between September and December 2024. Variables include gender, age, occupation, education, training history, and responses to 20 first aid knowledge items (scored as 0 = incorrect, 1 = correct), as well as seven Likert-scale items evaluating attitudes toward first aid education and action. All personal identifiers have been removed. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University (Approval No. KLL-2023-519), and informed consent was obtained from all participants. This dataset may be useful for public health researchers, health educators, and policymakers interested in community-based emergency preparedness, first aid education, and health equity.
