Data from: Killer whale (Orcinus orca) population dynamics in response to a period of rapid ecosystem change in the eastern North Atlantic

This dataset contains the data files from the research article entitled "Killer whale (Orcinus orca) population dynamics in response to a period of rapid ecosystem change in the eastern North Atlantic". The files contain the capture histories of the individual killer whales photo-identified at herring wintering grounds in 1988-2019, and used for fitting capture-recapture models to estimate survival rates and abundance. All files can be imported directly into RMark and converted to .inp files to then fit models. The READ-ME.txt file provides a description for each data file.<br>

本数据集包含研究论文《北大西洋东部海域快速生态变化时期的虎鲸（Orcinus orca）种群动态》配套的数据文件。这些文件收录了1988年至2019年间在鲱鱼越冬场经照片识别的单只虎鲸的捕获历史，用于拟合捕获-重捕模型（capture-recapture models）以估算存活率与种群丰度。所有文件可直接导入RMark软件，并转换为.inp格式文件后开展模型拟合。配套的READ-ME.txt文件可对各数据文件进行详细说明。
