The distribution data of deuterium (D) and oxygen-18 (¹⁸O) in ice and snow water from the Mount Qomolangma (Everest) region is derived from the 1975 scientific expedition report *Modern Glaciers and Landforms*. The vast mountain glaciers in the Everest region provide the primary meltwater recharge for local rivers and lakes. Under the influence of the low-latitude alpine climate, the isotopic signatures and geochemical characteristics of natural waters exhibit unique features. This dataset explores the contents, distribution patterns and migration rules of deuterium and oxygen-18 in ice, snow and various types of natural waters. Research indicates that supraglacial lakes and rivers recharged by glacial ice melt show certain differences in isotopic composition, while the isotopic composition of supraglacial lakes is nearly identical to that of glacial ice. This phenomenon is mainly attributed to their similar geographical environments: supraglacial lakes often coexist with ice and their meltwater, which facilitates rapid isotopic exchange and brings the isotopic composition closer to equilibrium. This dataset is stored in Excel format, containing one worksheet that records the sampling locations, collection dates and analytical results of ice, snow and water samples. This work showcases the digital collation results of data from the First Qinghai-Tibet Scientific Expedition, providing an important basis for further understanding of the hydrological characteristics of the Mount Qomolangma region.
