Children and Adolescents Meibomian Glands (CAMG) Dataset

This dataset includes 1,114 infrared images of upper eyelid meibomian glands collected between June 2020 and July 2024 in 600 participants aged 4 to 18 years. Images were pre-processed including denoising and normalized and manually annotated by 3 junior ophthalmologists and 1 senior ophthalmologist. Subsequently, segmentation is performed using an AI algorithm, and the results are reviewed and corrected by an experienced ophthalmologist. The dataset also includes demographic data and various quantitative parameters of meibomian glands. In addition, we also provide meibomian gland parameters for children and adolescents of different ages and genders to inform clinical practice.

本数据集包含2020年6月至2024年7月期间，从600名年龄4至18岁的受试者身上采集的1114张上睑睑板腺红外图像。所有图像均经过去噪、归一化等预处理操作，并由3名低年资眼科医师与1名高年资眼科医师完成人工标注。随后采用人工智能算法完成图像分割，分割结果再由经验丰富的眼科医师进行审核与修正。本数据集同时收录了受试者的人口统计学资料，以及睑板腺的多项定量参数。此外，本次发布还提供了不同年龄、不同性别的儿童与青少年群体的睑板腺参数，可为临床实践提供参考依据。
