WGS Penstemon centranthifolius and Penstemon grinnellii Genome sequencing. Penstemon

Whole genome shotgun sequencing was completed for Penstemon centranthifolius and P. grinnellii for the purposes of genome annotation, gene prediction and marker development. NGS was done using the 454 platform. Annotations and gene predictions were used to develop nuclear, chloroplast and mitochondrial markers for Penstemon.
