地区生产总值（GDP）是指本地区所有常住单位在一定时期内生产活动的最终成果。本数据集按照时间跨度从2000年开始，每3年一期，整理了2000年、2003年、2006年、2009年、2012年和2015年全国各省级行政区和各地级市行政区的GDP数据。数据来源以各年份《中国区域统计年鉴》为基础，补充添加了部分《中国城市年鉴》数据和政府工作报告数据。

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) refers to the final outcomes of production activities of all resident units within a given region over a specified period. This dataset, which is released triennially starting from 2000, compiles GDP data for all provincial-level administrative regions and prefecture-level administrative regions across China in the years 2000, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2012 and 2015. The data sources are primarily based on the *China Regional Statistical Yearbook* of each corresponding year, supplemented with data from selected volumes of the *China Urban Statistical Yearbook* and government work reports.
