Enhancing the innate immune response against Staphylococcus aureus

Microbes that are resistant to drugs is a global health threat that requires new treatment to effectively clear infections. This thesis develops modified antibiotic derivatives and investigates their ability to recognise and target drug-resistant bacteria for clearance by our immune system.
