Literatura, formação e educação na obra de Antonio Candido: a humanização do homem

ABSTRACT As literature obtained primacy in Brazil’s cultural and intellectual life and occupies a prominent place in the work of Antonio Candido, in this article, based on his reflections, we strive to show some discussions on the contribution of literature to the formation and humanization of man. Because, on his journey, the critic also turned his attention to education, a less relevant aspect of his production when compared to others, such literary criticism. In this sense, it would not be an exaggeration to say that Candido provides important contributions, scholarly underpinnings, and theoretical tools to rethink how we have conceived the educational process and historically constructed the education and the university in Brazil.

摘要 鉴于文学在巴西文化与学术生活中占据首要地位，且在安东尼奥·坎迪多（Antonio Candido）的学术成果中亦占有核心位置，本文基于他的思想反思，旨在探讨文学对人的塑造与人性化进程所带来的贡献。与此同时，作为批评家的坎迪多也曾将目光投向教育领域——相较于其文学批评等其他研究方向，教育议题在其学术产出中受关注度相对较低。就此而言，毫不夸张地说，坎迪多为我们重新审视巴西的教育进程、厘清巴西教育与大学体系的历史建构逻辑，提供了极具价值的学术贡献、理论根基与分析工具。
