Unequal treatment in terms of party identification when information can be falsified or withheld

This repository contains data for the paper: “Unequal treatment is reduced when group identity can be falsified” by Maria Abascal, Kinga Makovi and Anahit Sargsyan. The following files are included: (1) data.csv – that contains the raw data; (2) CCES2018_OUTPUT.dta; (3) data_cleaned.csv – that contains the data cleaned after the R-script preprocessing.R is executed on data.csv and CCES2018_OUTPUT.dta; (4) data_w_cces.csv – that contains the data collected for the above-mentioned paper and CCES data of Democrats and Republicans; (5) main.R – that contains the code for the analyses reported in the paper; (6) si.R – that contains the code for the analyses reported in the Supplementary Materials; (7) codebook.pdf – that describes the variables.
