This study investigates the spatiotemporal dynamics of sediment extracellular enzyme activities and greenhouse gas (GHG) fluxes within the wetlands of the Yangtze River Estuary. Detailed datasets were collected to characterize the spatiotemporal variations in both extracellular enzyme activities and the physicochemical properties of sediment and water samples. Furthermore, the research quantifies GHG emission fluxes and corresponding enzymatic activities under contrasting flooded and non-flooded conditions. By integrating these parameters, the study elucidates the complex interactions between environmental drivers and microbial metabolic processes across different spatial scales and seasonal cycles.
