Data supplement for the Altered reactivity to threatening stimuli in Drosophila models of Parkinson’s disease revealed by a trial-based assay manuscript.

This dataset is a single-animal trial-based assay in fruit flies to sample the distribution of behavioral responses to predator-mimicking passing shadows and to test the effect of mutations relevant to Parkinson’s disease on these behaviors. The measured data is the spatial coordinates of individual flies in the function of time.The compressed folders contain raw data for two experiments. First, we performed age group comparisons (1 day old, 1 week old, 2 weeks old, 3 weeks old, 4 weeks old) in 5 different drosophila genotypes. Second, we performed genotype comparison between 8 different genotypes in 2 weeks old flies. Third, we performed control experiments in the review process in further 6 genotypes. For the descripton of the different genotypes, see the manuscript.For both experiments, there are separate folders for each mutant line. Within these folders, there are separate folders for each age group, with folders containing the raw data of the corresponding experiment. The raw data of a single experiment is in two types of .csv files. The first type (names of which start with 'tun_') contains the x,y and time coordinates of individual flies, while the other type (names of which starts with 'det_') contains a logical array indicating timestamps with detected shadow presence. Both data types can be processed with the MATLAB codes published with the manuscript.
