Survey Data: Return Migrants, Violent Electoral Politics and Electoral Integrity\"

De-identified dataset from a survey of Mexican mayoral candidates running in the country's 2021 election. The first round of survey data was collected from 114 candidates running in 21 of Mexico's 31 states, plus Mexico City, between April 28 and June 30, 2021. The second round was collected between December 3, 2021 and July 21, 2022 on elected mayors from eight Mexican states. All interviews were conducted by phone in Spanish by Data Opinion Publica y Mercados, Mexico, SC. The survey was funded by a Rapid Grant from the National Science Foundation, Award No. 2120735.
