<b>Description:</b> This dataset comprises 537 draft genomes of bacterial species associated with cyanobacterial consortia from three distinct freshwater ecosystems. These consortia were established using five model cyanobacterial strains and bacterial inocula from Strawberry Creek, Eel River and Discovery Bay, CA. The genomes were derived from metagenomic sequencing and subsequent genome-resolved metagenomic analysis, representing a wide array of bacterial taxa. The dataset provides insights into the taxonomic diversity, genomic novelty, and community structure of these<i> in vitro</i> consortia.
