Lysine acetylation profiling of a naa50 knock-out in the fungus Neurospora crassa

To identify potential Lysine acetylation targets of the acetyl transferase Naa50 in Neurospora crassa we conducted a comprehensive quantitative proteome profiling and compared a wildtype strain with a naa50 knock out if the fungus via DiMethyl labeling on the level of the full proteome as well as in samples enriched for the PTM.
