Prokaryotic decomposer communities along estuarine gradients

This study includes 141 datasets of 16S rRNA amplicons targeting the V3-V4 region. These datasets are derived from samples collected from soil and buried green tea, rooibos tea, and native litter. The main objective of the research is to identify the prokaryotic communities associated with different types of litter materials in wetland soils. The study is part of the DFG Research Training Group 2530 and was conducted in the tidal marshes of the Elbe estuary in NW Germany.
